Sharad Navratri 2020 -3. Chandraghanta

"Goddess Chandraghanta" is worshiped on the third day. This day is dedicated to the color red. Devi Chandraghanta rides a tigress and wears a crescent on her forehead. Since the half-moon on his forehead looks like a bell and because of this he is known as lunar-bell. She has ten hands and his four left hands are holding the trident, mace, sword and kamandala and the fifth hand is placed in the left boon posture. She holds a lotus flower, arrow, bow and chanting garland in her four right hands and holds the fifth hand in safe pose (Abhaya Mudra). 

Though this is a peaceful form of the goddess and is believed that it gives you the strength to fight all your fears. Sound of the moon-bell on her forehead expel all type of spirits away from her devotees and safe guard them from all evils. 

Her favorite flower is jasmine and hence you can offer these flowers to Mata Chandraghanta on the day of Navratri. तीसरे दिन देवी चंद्रघंटा की पूजा की जाती है। यह दिन लाल रंग को समर्पित है। देवी चंद्रघंटा एक बाघिन पर सवार होती हैं और उसके माथे पर अर्धचंद्र पहनती हैं। चूँकि उसके माथे पर आधा चाँद घंटी की तरह दिखता है और इस वजह से उसे चंद्र-घंटा के नाम से जाना जाता है। उसे दस हाथों से दर्शाया गया है और उसके हाथों में त्रिशूल, गदा, तलवार और कमंडल धारण किया गया है और पाँचवाँ हाथ बाएँ वरदान मुद्रा में रखा गया है। वह अपने दाहिने हाथों में कमल का फूल, बाण, धनुष और जप माला धारण करती है और पाँचवाँ हाथ अभय मुद्रा में रखती है।  

हालांकि यह देवी का एक शांतिपूर्ण रूप है और माना जाता है कि यह आपको अपने सभी डर से लड़ने की ताकत देता है। उसके माथे पर चांद-घंटी की आवाज हर तरह की आत्माओं को उसके भक्तों से दूर करती है और उनकी रक्षा करती है।  

उनकों चमेली का फूल अति प्रिय हैं और इसलिए आप इन फूलों को नवरात्रि के एक दिन माता चंद्रघंटा को अर्पित कर सकते हैं। माँ चन्द्रघण्टा की कृपा से साधक के समस्त पाप और बाधाएँ विनष्ट हो जाती हैं। इनकी आराधना सद्यः फलदायी है। इनकी मुद्रा सदैव युद्ध के लिये तैयार रहनेकी होती है, अतः भक्तों के कष्टका निवारण ये अत्यन्त शीघ्र कर देती हैं।
