Dussehra is the main festival of Hinduism. According to religious belief, this festival is celebrated as the victory of good over evil and victory of truth over untruth. Today is the eighth day of Nav Durga and this day are dedicated to Maa Mahagauri. It is a legend, Goddess Shailputri, who obtained Lord Shiva as her husband after hard penance.
